The academic system at KIMDS is functioning under the guidelines and direction of the Academic Council.

Apart from the traditional classroom lectures, a rich mix of teaching methods and learning tools are used. These are especially appropriate in honing business skills.

The course is preceded by an orientation on Management Learning facilitators. This is a uniquely designed module to get into the mode of management learning and comprises exposure to real time business environment with the base tools of learning (logic, analysis, language).

Emphasis is on self-learning & rigor where faculties are facilitators.Emphasis is on experiential learning, where participants learn through doing assignments, projects, presentations and debates, some of these are designed to enhance the level of creativity and innovation among students. Case analysis is an integral part of business analysis as also a method to enhance employability.

Real time exposure to the business environment is achieved through short research assignments followed by internship programs.

Leveraging technology for assistance in academic delivery is imperative today and KIMDS classrooms are fully equipped with all these.

KIMDS Manual of Procedures


(KIMDS) is a unit of Kejriwal Educational Charitable Trust (KECT)

At KIMDS Students are pursuing a professional course that will shape their future. Thus it is ecpected that the students should acclimatise themselves with the rules and regulations as well as various contact points. Whom to contact for and other matters related to their stay at KIMDS campus and hostel and while representing KIMDS.

THus students should read the manual of procedures thoroughly before the start of the session and must adhere to the guidelines as mentioned therein. Failure to comply will lead to disciplinary action and is dealt as per the provisions.

Academic System


The innovative of PGDM of KIMDS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE )

The apex body for approval of management institutes Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The Institute follows the semester system. The entire course consists of 4 semesters,each of which is of 6 months duration.The PGDM comprises of core and elective courses, In the core courses,students are exposed to the foundation of managerial skills as well as functional aspects of business. An eight-week Summer Internship (at the end of first year) is compulsory for all the students. This training helps the students to learn and handle problems in the real business scenario. From the third semester onwards students pursue electivesin their chosen area of specialization.

Regular class lectures are supplemented by a wide variety of quiz, tests, individual & group brainstorming exercises, discussions, presentations, project applications etc. Managers today are facing increasing pressure to improve their presentation skills and the quality of oral communications. Students at KIMDS are required to make regular presentations on projects, in the process they become proficient in conveying ideas effectively.
